Responding to Adam Price AM’s speech to the Plaid Cymru conference, Paul Davies AM, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives said: 

“The Welsh Conservatives are the official opposition in the Welsh Assembly and the choice for voters in 2021 is clear - five more years of the tired and same Welsh Labour policies of the last 20 years or change with the Welsh Conservatives. 

“Only the Welsh Conservatives are and will continue to hold Jeremy Corbyn’s Welsh Labour Government to account and stand up for the people of Wales.  

“Thanks to action by the UK Conservative Government, employment is at its highest in Wales since records began and the tolls on the Severn Bridges have been abolished, boosting the Welsh economy. Meanwhile, the Welsh Labour Government dithers and makes excuses for not reaching a decision on the M4 relief road, which would help local residents across South East Wales and improve the opportunities for Welsh businesses.”
