Portfield School pupils have won the attention of a Welsh Assembly committee.
The children collected a petition late last year calling for better disabled access on school and public transport.
It was delivered to the Welsh Assembly's petition committee by their local AM Paul Davies and was chosen as one of hundreds worthy of extra scrutiny.
"The pupils had put a lot of work into getting the petition going and collecting the signatures so I was delighted to hear that the committee is taking it so seriously," said Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Mr Davies.
Members of the cross-party committee visited the school in Haverfordwest last week to hear a presentation by the pupils.
"This is a very worthwhile subject which needed to be raised and the pupils should be congratulated on their success in getting through to the people in the know," added Mr Davies.
