Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies is looking forward to continuing his support for local businesses in Preseli Pembrokeshire on Small Business Saturday. Since its inception in 2012, this campaign has given a real opportunity for local shops and businesses to showcase their exceptional products, foods and services to local residents and visitors to the area on a specific day which receives National media coverage.

Paul Davies said, “I enjoy supporting local businesses each and every week, and I hope in the run up to Christmas residents will consider supporting the smaller shops who often offer very unusual and specialised gifts and services which would make really unique and special gifts for loved ones.

We have seen the UK Government reduce business rates for businesses in England, so I am calling on the Welsh Government to follow suit to give small businesses the opportunity to grow, and to see investment into our High Streets in Pembrokeshire. These small businesses add such value to our communities, and we need to ensure they are supported as much as possible.
