Paul Davies AM was delighted to host Megan, a young woman from Preseli Pembrokeshire, on a special shadowing day organised by Chwarae Teg. The day gave young women opportunities to question Assembly Members, take part in a debate and undertake a tour of the Senedd.

Chwarae Teg is hoping to see more women becoming involved in politics and democracy and feels that this day will allow young people opportunities for their voices to be heard by key players in the Welsh Assembly.

Mr Davies said, ‘I enjoyed spending time with Megan and learnt more about her keen interest in politics. It was great to see that Chwarae Teg had teamed Assembly Members up with local students who live in the areas they represent. The event was extremely successful and I look forward to keeping in touch with Megan and following her progress in the future’.
