RESPONDING to today's publication by the Commons' Welsh Affairs select committee into the proposed Welsh language legislative competence order, Shadow Minister for the Welsh language Paul Davies AM said:

"We are pleased MPs support the principle of devolving powers over the Welsh language to the National Assembly. The Conservative Party is committed to the Welsh language and increasing its use across Wales."
