Fears over the way a "community" woodland near Boncath has been bought and managed have been taken to the top by Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies.
Mr Davies called a meeting so that residents worried about the Ffynone and Cilgwyn woodland could raise their concerns.
"I have now taken a list of 80 valid queries that came out of that meeting to the Rural Affairs Minister," said Mr Davies.
The Growing Heart Workers Co‐operative was given a half a million pound grant to buy the wood over two years ago. The money came from the Cydcoed scheme which was managed by the Forestry Commission Wales.
Mr Davies was contacted by residents concerned at the way public money was used by a co‐operative to buy the woodlands "for community use". Local residents say they were not consulted and that there's been no community involvement in the project.
Parts of the woods have now been clear felled and hardcore tracks put in.
"People feel that the whole process of buying and managing this woodland has suffered from a lack of transparency and that it is being too intensively managed," said Mr Davies.
"It is ironic that the Cydcoed scheme which funded the purchase of the woods was called a "community development project" yet the residents feel that as a community they have not been involved."
