The recently introduced Civil Parking Enforcement scheme has highlighted the limited number of parking spaces available for shoppers in Charles Street, Milford Haven. Local Assembly Member, Paul Davies has recently been contacted by business owners in Charles Street voicing concern regarding this issue.

Assembly Member for Preseli Pembrokeshire Paul Davies said, "I have received a number of representations regarding the availability of parking spaces in Charles Street for 'shop and go shoppers'. I am disappointed to hear that this is causing some people to shop elsewhere."

"I was pleased to have a meeting with Mr Ian Westley, Director of Transportation and Environment at Pembrokeshire County Council, where I highlighted these concerns. I am pleased that Mr Westley has confirmed he is willing to review the applicability of the parking restrictions in Charles Street, Milford Haven. I very much hope that we see a suitable resolution for everyone concerned."
