Local Assembly Member Paul Davies is encouraging businesses in Pembrokeshire to join the likes of the National Assembly, the Welsh Rugby Union and leading Welsh newspapers who are among the first to adopt the new wales/.cymru domain name. The opportunity will be extended to all businesses in November and the wider public in March.
Speaking from the launch at the Senedd, Mr Davies said, "I'm delighted that the National Assembly for Wales has adopted the new .wales .cymru domain name. This is a positive step for Wales' presence on the internet, and will be integral in promoting Wales across the world. I'd therefore, encourage all businesses across Pembrokeshire to switch to a .wales .cymru domain name and be part of this exciting development. Switching to a new domain name could help your business market itself outside of Wales. For more information on this project go to: http://ourhomeonline.wales/"
