Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies has recently visited the newly upgraded Hazelbeach Community Mission Hall, following three years of renovation work. Costing more than £125,000, the renovated hall opened its doors once again in April. The hall was first opened in 1888.
Following the visit, Mr Davies said, "I was delighted to visit the new and improved Hazelbeach Community Mission Hall to see its new facilities. A fantastic job has been done in modernising the old hall and turning it into a hall fit for the whole community in the twenty first century. This is a true testament to the determination and hard work of the local community who have worked tirelessly to ensure that this valuable upgrade comes to fruition."
He added, "Village halls are incredibly important in bonding local communities by providing much needed social, recreational and cultural facilities. I very much hope that the people of Hazelbeach and Llanstadwell and indeed the surrounding communities now take advantage of the wonderful facilities on their doorstep."
