Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies is supporting Carers Week 2015, to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout Pembrokeshire and the rest of Wales. This year the focus is on building Carer Friendly Communities, which support carers to look after their loved ones well, while recognising that they are individuals with needs of their own.

Mr Davies also attended a Wales Carers Alliance event in the Senedd to show his commitment to carers across Wales. Speaking from the Senedd, Mr Davies said, “I’m pleased to support Carers Week 2015, which recognises the commitment and compassion of carers in Pembrokeshire, and indeed, across Wales. Carers perform a vital role and this week is a chance to show them some well-deserved appreciation.
