AM Paul Davies has taken part in the 8th annual Conference of the Pembrokeshire 50+ Central Forum. The Conference, themed "Working Together to Make a Difference", looked at how we can support older people within our communities and aimed to improve intergenerational relationships.
Paul Davies said, "I was thrilled to take part in such an important event. It was a wonderful opportunity to listen to a wide range of concerns and to understand some of the problems that may exist in our communities, especially for older people. It is absolutely crucial that we understand the different challenges faced by the people of Pembrokeshire at all ages and that we identify areas that we can work on together to make a difference to people's lives."
"Clearly, more needs to be done to ensure that older people's views are appropriately consulted on when the Welsh Assembly Government is developing national strategies in all of its policy areas. For my part, I will continue to raise awareness of the issues that we discussed at the Conference, to ensure that the views of my constituents continue to be heard at an Assembly level."
