Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has opened the Anne Frank Historical Photographic Exhibition at Pembrokeshire College in Haverfordwest. The exhibition which offers a unique history of the Holocaust from the perspective of Anne Frank and her family, is open to the public and will be running for one week.
Following the event Mr Davies said, “I was privileged to open such an important exhibition and I hope that as many people as possible from Pembrokeshire will take the opportunity to visit the exhibition this week. These events are so important in not only remembering the past, but using those experiences to encourage people to embrace positive attitudes, personal responsibility and respect for others. The Anne Frank Trust and local community group Cleddau Community Arts have done a wonderful job in bringing this exhibition to fruition and I sincerely hope that local schools will visit and learn about the life of Anne Frank and the importance of tolerance, diversity and respect in our society.”
