Local Assembly Member Paul Davies visited the Citizens Advice Bureau in Haverfordwest recently. The branch has extended its opening hours by six hours per week for face to face advice and has recruited eleven new volunteers over the past twelve months.
Paul Davies said, "I was delighted to visit the local Citizens Advice Bureau. The team here have worked very hard in this tough financial climate to produce a valuable service available to the whole community.
The Citizens Advice Bureau can offer free, impartial advice on a wealth of issues from debt advice to welfare benefits and health issues. The team are very friendly and are developing some crucial Social Policy work to help strengthen the service they provide.
"I would urge anybody who is in need of advice regarding their rights and responsibilities to contact the local branch as they deliver a fantastic service to the community."
