Local Assembly Member Paul Davies is supporting Carers Week 2012 in aid of the 370,000 unpaid carers in Wales who look after a family member, friend or partner; who needs help because they are ill, frail or have a disability. The national Carers Week is promoted by eight national charities including Carers UK and runs from Monday June 18th to Sunday June 24th. It is designed to raise the profile of carers, raise awareness of their needs, and celebrates the contribution that they make.
