Today, local Assembly Member Paul Davies opened Mount Woodlands' new bird hide. The bird hide is open to the public and is located on the edge of the Mount Estate in Milford Haven.
Paul Davies said, "I was delighted to officially open the new bird hide at the Woodlands today.
The Woodlands are an important wildlife habitat and I was very impressed by the hard work and commitment shown by all of the staff and the helpers who have worked tirelessly to develop it into an environment which can be enjoyed by the whole community.
I was very impressed by the new round houses that have been built which will give the community an opportunity to take a break in a tranquil environment while walking through the woodland.
This is a wonderful resource for adults and children of all ages. I am sure that the public will get many years' pleasure from walking the footpath as well as enjoying watching the wide variety of birds and wildlife that inhabits Pembrokeshire."
