Pembrokeshire's broadband service is a hit-and-miss affair that is driving local businesses up the wall, says Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies.
"One Pembrokeshire businesswoman tells me that after having broadband since January it then disappeared about a month ago," said Mr Davies.
"When she complained, she was told by BT engineers that someone else in the area had signed up to the service and that meant she had been dropped off the connection.
"It beggars belief that we have such a farcical system in place, it would be funny if broadband wasn't such a necessary part of daily life and business."
Mr Davies raised the issue with the deputy first minister in the Senedd last week.
"My constituent's business depends on her ability to receive broadband, and she believes that BT is not spending enough on the service, particularly in rural areas," he told Ieuan Wyn Jones.
