Preseli Pembrokeshire Senedd Member is urging the people of Pembrokeshire to nominate a local business for a prestigious Countryside Alliance award. Also known as the Rural Oscars, the Countryside Alliance awards are an opportunity to champion rural businesses that represent the very best of Pembrokeshire.
Categories include Best Butcher, Local Food/Drink, Rural Enterprise, Village Shop/Post Office and Best Pub. Each nomination is carefully considered, with regional finalists chosen before national winners are announced at a House of Lords reception in 2026.
Mr Davies said, “The Countryside Alliance awards, or the Rural Oscars as they’re also known, showcase the very best of Britain’s rural businesses. They shine a spotlight on innovative enterprise, the highest standards of produce and they champion those businesses that go above and beyond to support their local community.”
“Pembrokeshire has so many brilliant rural businesses – but they have to be nominated to have the chance to win a Rural Oscar. Nominations are now open, so make sure you nominate your favourite business by visiting the Countryside Alliance website.”
