The Albert Hall would fit into the largest of the LNG tanks being built at Milford Haven. This amazing fact was pointed out to Richard Ottaway MP for Croydon South on a visit to the plant.
"The sheer scale of the place is amazing," said Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies who showed Mr Ottaway around. "Thirty per cent of the energy needs for the whole of the UK will come through the plant when it comes on line."
Mr Ottaway is an energy policy consultant to the South Hook LNG company which is building the massive tanks. He was accompanied by Mr Davies, South Pembrokeshire AM Angela Burns and local Conservative MP Stephen Crabb on a tour of the facility before being the guest speaker at a dinner in Milford Haven that night.
"Mr Ottaway was very impressed by the sheer scale of the engineering project and interested to hear that there will be 80 long term jobs at the facility," added Mr Davies.
