Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies recently met with a group from Menter Iaith Sîr Benfro. Mr Davies talked to the group about his work as an Assembly Member, issues surrounding the Welsh language and local issues in Pembrokeshire.

Yn ddiweddar, cafodd Paul Davies, AC Preseli Penfro, y cyfle i gyfarfod grŵp o Fenter Iaith Sir Benfro. Bu Mr Davies yn siarad â’r grŵp am ei waith fel Aelod Cynulliad, materion yn ymwneud â’r Gymraeg a materion lleol yn Sir Benfro.

Mr Davies said, “I was delighted to come and meet the group and be a small part of their tour of the National Assembly for Wales. I had an opportunity to explain a bit more about my role as the Assembly Member and how I manage my time between the Senedd and my constituency. I was asked questions on a range of topics from the Welsh language and S4C to local government reform and the effect of the Welsh Government’s proposals for Pembrokeshire. I hope that the group had an enjoyable tour and learnt something new about me and the National Assembly.”

Meddai Mr Davies, “Roeddwn i’n falch iawn o gael dod yma a chyfarfod y grŵp a bod yn rhan fach o’u taith o gwmpas Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru. Cefais gyfle i egluro rhywfaint mwy am fy rôl fel Aelod Cynulliad a sut rydw i’n rheoli fy amser rhwng y Senedd a’m hetholaeth. Atebais gwestiynau am bynciau amrywiol, o’r Gymraeg ac S4C i ddiwygio llywodraeth leol ac effaith cynigion Llywodraeth Cymru ar Sir Benfro. Gobeithio bod y grŵp wedi cael taith bleserus ac wedi dysgu rhywbeth newydd amdana i a’r Cynulliad Cenedlaethol.”
