Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has recently visited Milford Haven Museum, ahead of its reopening this month. Mr Davies was shown around the museum by Cllr Derek Davies, who is a member of the Museum Committee; and given the opportunity to see the museum's new exhibition and learn more about the town's local history.

Mr Davies said: "I was delighted to visit Milford Haven museum and hear more about how Milford Haven has developed from a small fishing village into a major oil port and modern twenty-first century town. It was a great opportunity for me to learn more about the local history and see the museum's superb facilities."

I very much hope that visitors and indeed local residents will take advantage of the excellent exhibitions at the museum and see for themselves how rich Milford Haven's local history really is."
