Commenting on his visit to Cilgerran Castle, Local Assembly Member Paul Davies said, "I was delighted to visit Cilgerran Castle to launch the 'Stories in a Thimble' project as part of the Festival of British Archaeology. It is amazing to think the whole idea came from the excavation of a bronze thimble at the Castle. We in Pembrokeshire are so fortunate to have so many fantastic castles along with so many historical attractions and visiting them is truly inspirational and fascinating".
