Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies has recently attended the Pembrokeshire Young Farmers annual county rally in Haverfordwest. The rally hosted a number of competitions and events, including the crowning of the county YFC queen and the tug-of-war which provided some of the more traditional highlights.
Following his visit, Mr Davies said, “I was delighted to attend this year’s YFC rally – it’s an excellent day out that brings children and young people from across Pembrokeshire together. There was certainly plenty going on from singing and dancing to flower arranging and arts and crafts – and the range of activities really showed why YFC groups are so important for our young people in Pembrokeshire. These clubs not only provide educational opportunities for children and young people in rural areas, but give them the opportunity to socialise and have fun along the way.
