Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies is supporting five-year old Elly Neville, who won a competition at school by making a collage of the Pembrokeshire Flag. She and her parents have decided to raffle the flag in order to raise valuable funds for the refurbishment and upgrade of Ward 10, the dedicated cancer ward at Withybush Hospital.

Speaking from Withybush hospital, Mr Davies said, “I’m delighted to support Elly’s wonderful campaign to upgrade Ward 10 at Withybush hospital. I very much hope that people generously donate to this cause as the money raised will make such a difference to Ward 10. The Ward is so important to cancer patients and their families – and we must all do what we can to protect and enhance their facilities.”

He added, “I understand that Elly has set up a Just Giving page to collect donations and I’d encourage everyone to visit the website and make a donation. All donations will then be entered into a draw to win the flag and the winning entry will be drawn by Elly on July 1st.”
