Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies has recently met up with representatives from Pembrokeshire People First to discuss a number of issues facing their members such as independent living and advocacy. The meeting also specifically looked at day services, potential funding streams and even local transport issues.

Mr Davies said, “As a patron, I am thankful that Pembrokeshire People First invited me to this meeting. It was a great opportunity to work with the group and address any concerns they have regarding local provisions for their members.”

“For my part, I will continue to campaign for better services for people who have a learning difficulty in Pembrokeshire; and continue to work with groups such as Pembrokeshire People First to ensure that the voices of their members continue to be heard at an Assembly level.”
