Local Assembly Member Paul Davies is encouraging local health groups across Pembrokeshire to apply for funding from the GSK IMPACT Awards, which, in partnership with the King’s Fund, is currently offering charities the opportunity to receive an award of up to £40,000. Applications are welcome from local health groups and charities that are at least three years old and have an annual income of between £25,000 and £2 million.
Mr Davies said, "I'd like to encourage as many groups as possible from across Pembrokeshire to make an application to the GSK IMPACT awards. These awards could provide some much needed funding for new equipment or to upgrade existing facilities.”
"The aim of this fund is to support health groups who are already working to improve people’s health across our local communities. There’s also an added bonus that award winners will also be offered free training and development, valued up to £6,000. If you think your group meets the criteria, then visit www.kingsfund.org.uk/gskimpactawards for more information and advice on how to apply.”
