Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies was pleased to adjudicate the Pembrokeshire Young Farmers Senior Debating Competition. Mr Davies provided a list of eleven topics for debating, ranging from social networking and reality TV to the proposed badger cull and the single-use carrier bag levy.

Local AM Paul Davies said: "I was delighted to adjudicate the Senior Debating Competition and I was thoroughly impressed with the calibre of all the participants involved. Debating competitions are a great way for young people to improve their public speaking and communication skills and their confidence."

He added: "All too often on television, a negative image of young people is portrayed. Clearly, this issue is distorted. I am proud to say that in Pembrokeshire, we have an array of fantastic young people; and events like this reinforce that fact."
