COMMENTING on the news that the Brecon Jazz Festival has gone into receivership, Shadow Culture Minister Paul Davies said:

"We are hoping this news does not mean that one of Wales' most famous music festivals will be lost forever.

"The festival has many loyal fans and attracts large numbers of visitors into Wales every year.

"The Assembly Government needs to look to see if there is anything it can do to help find new investment."
