Preseli Pembrokeshire AM Paul Davies is encouraging groups across Pembrokeshire to take advantage of funding under the Coastal Communities Fund, which encourages the economic development of coastal communities by giving funding to create sustainable economic growth and jobs.

Mr Davies said, “This funding could make a real difference to communities in Pembrokeshire and therefore, I’d encourage as many groups as possible to apply. This pot of funding is specifically aimed at supporting our coastal areas and so Pembrokeshire is in a prime position to access this funding.”

He added, “The guidance states that successful applicants have shown a strong link to local strategies and work alongside what others are doing in the area. So, if you’re involved in a coastal community project that needs a boost, then it’s definitely worth a shot. Who knows – your project could be the recipient of this valuable funding.”
