Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has visited Ysgol Bro Dewi in St Davids, to present Tabitha Lindsey with a prize for winning his Christmas card competition this year. Tabitha was handed a kindle, for producing the winning Christmas card, which detailed a festive Christmas scene, complete with a wonderful Christmas tree. Tabitha’s class will also receive an art workshop in the New Year from the judge and local artist, Cynth Weyman.

Mr Davies said, “I was delighted to present Tabitha with a kindle for winning this year’s Christmas card competition. Tabitha produced a wonderfully festive card with plenty of detail and colour. Children right across Pembrokeshire entered some really artistic designs and so it was a difficult choice to pick one winner, but Tabitha’s card really summed up the festive period.”

He added, “Tabitha’s class will also receive a workshop from local artist, Cynth Weyman, which I’m sure will be lots of fun. There’s clearly some great artistic talent in Pembrokeshire and now it’s important that that talent is nurtured.”
