Plans to move forward with an integrated healthcare facility in Cardigan have been welcomed by Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies. In a letter to local Assembly Members, the Health Minister has confirmed his support to the cause and offered to help progress construction matters for the new development.

Mr Davies said, "I'm pleased that the Health Minister has made this intervention and that he is willing to support this vital venture. This healthcare facility will no doubt make a difference to the people of North Pembrokeshire who I'm sure will also be pleased that this project seems to be progressing. I hope that the Minister now works with the local health board to ensure that this new facility is up and running sooner rather than later. I will of course be monitoring this development and I look forward to hearing more details about it in due course."
