Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies recently visited the "Full of Life and Keep Well Event" held at Letterston Village Hall. The event run by Pembrokeshire 50+ Forum and Keep Well This Winter partnership was very well attended with a packed Hall full of exhibits and demonstrations to interest people.

Paul Davies AM, said "I was delighted to be able to attend this excellent event. It is important that we stay safe, active and healthy as we grow older, and this event had many ideas as to how to do this. It was testimony to the hard work of the organisers that so many exhibitors attended. Everyone I spoke to at the event found the day very informative and interesting. Being able to have electric blankets checked for safety by the Mid and West Wales Fire Service attracted a number of people, and it is very important we all consider the safety of our electrical appliances. I understand that the Dignity Care Seminar, family history talk and Welsh Taster Classes were also very well received."

He added "Having an event such as this where people can receive up to date information, learn a new skill and meet others is an excellent idea, and I am sure next year's event is already being anticipated by those that attended."
