Welsh Conservatives will today lead a debate on the floor of the Assembly on their proposals to help small businesses access finance.

Last week, Welsh Conservatives published 'Invest Wales', a document aimed at transforming the fortunes of small and medium-sized enterprises by tackling one of the biggest obstacles to growth – access to finance.

The proposals would see publicly funded loans made available to small businesses through a partnership with private financial institutions.
