Local Assembly Member Paul Davies is encouraging people across Pembrokeshire to submit nominations for the 2019 Sport Pembrokeshire Awards. Nominations are open until Sunday 13th October and categories include everything from Coach of the Year to Team Achievement of the Year to Disability Sport Award. It’s also understood that last year’s nominees can be submitted again.

Mr Davies said, “Pembrokeshire is a hub of home grown sporting talent and the Sport Pembrokeshire Awards are a great way of celebrating that and recognising the importance of grass roots sport. These awards not only award Pembrokeshire’s athletes, but give an opportunity to thank the countless volunteers, coaches and organisers across the County for their hard work and commitment. Nominations close in a few weeks’ time so there’s still plenty of time to get your nominations submitted. Therefore, I’d like to encourage as many people as possible to take advantage and submit a nomination so that the organisers can get a real flavour of the sporting talent we have across Pembrokeshire.”

·         download a form from Sport Pembrokeshire www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/sport

·         collect a form from Sport Pembrokeshire at County Hall, Haverfordwest
